Description
Traffic sign reading robot is an application of robotics. The main use of this robot is to reduce road accidents which leads to loss of many lives. This bot detects the traffic sign and moves as per the direction indicated. The main aim is to detect the traffic sign that passes by and to read the image displayed and move accordingly. An Arduino is used for serial communication. It moves the motors using motor Driver and it is connected to the raspberry pi after uploading the required programme. Raspberry pi and Open Cv library were installed to detect the sign. RGB images which are captured by the Raspberry pi camera are converted into grey colour. Robot will take a move in the direction of the detected sign.
