1. The AIU South Zone Kabaddi (Men) Championship commences on 09.11.2023. (Teams to report on 08.11.2023 evening positively)

2. The Inauguration of AIU South Zone Kabaddi (Men) Championship will be held on 09.11.2023. All the participating Universities are requested to instruct their teams to be present on the occasion along with the Manager and Coach.

3. All the participating Universities have to bring their University flag for the Inaugural function.

4. Team managers meeting will be held on 08.11.2023 at 4.00 pm at the Aditya Engineering College Seminar Hall.

5. All the managers are requested to attend the meeting along with 4 sets of eligibility forms, S.S.C Marks sheet and +2 Marks sheet, (Degree marks sheet in case of PG studies) production of Migration Certificates in case of outside state students is necessary. The proof of Registration Fee Rs. 3000-/paid to AIU for SZ IUT Kabaddi Tournament duly attested by the competent authorities, without fail.

6. All the matches will be played on Mat in day light and flood lights. (Mat Shoes are Compulsory)

7. The timings of the matches shall be from 08.00 am to 10.00 pm on all the days of the tournament (Kindly refer fixtures and match schedule copies).

8. The matches will be played on Knock-out cum league basis. The teams are expected to report with proper uniforms as suggested by AIU.

9. Each Team shall have to pay an officiating charge of Rs.1500/- per match as per the rules of AIU.

10. Universities who have not paid the subscription to AIU, for the year 2023 - 24 will not be allowed to participate in the tournament, as per the circular issued by AIU, New Delhi.

11. All the Teams shall report at least 30 minutes before the commencement of their Match. The teams which fail to report in time will be given Walkover.

12. The tournament will be conducted as per the latest rules of the Armature Kabaddi Federation of India as adopted by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. The teams are expected to Report with proper uniforms as suggested by the Association of Indian Universities. The Championship will be played in 12+2 Patron, (i.e. 12 Players+ 1 Coach & 1 Manager,)

13. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to make changes (to pre-pone/post-pone/ curtail) in the Championship Program, if any, as and when required, in consultation with Referees. However, prior intimation will be given to the managers for effecting such changes.

14. The decisions of the officials shall be final and binding. Appeals, if any, shall be decided by the jury of appeal. A participating team may lodge protest on technical matters, within 30 Minutes of the completion of their match along with protest fee of Rs. 2000/-.

15. The teams shall produce their players ID cards as and when required by the organizers.

16. Team Managers are responsible for their players to maintain absolute discipline during the tournament and at the place of accommodation.

17. The Decision of the Organizing Committee shall be final and binding in all the matters concerned. The Teams will be provided unfurnished accommodation (Dormitory type with floor carpets) 24 hours before the commencement of their respective matches and the teams have to vacate within 24 hours after losing their last match in the Championship. (Teams arriving early & departing late shall make their own arrangements for overstay)

18. The Teams are informed to make their own arrangements for boarding and locks. Food can be purchased from the food stalls.

19. Participating Universities are requested to inform their teams' travel schedule to the Organizing Secretary well in advance so as to arrange accommodation for their teams.

20. The climate during the tournament (night) will be chill & hence players shall bring adequate winter clothes & Bed sheets.

21. Unfurnished accommodation will be provided to the participating teams. Each team should deposit a sum of Rs. 2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousands only) as caution deposit. This amount will be refunded after adjusting the cost of damages, if any at the time of checkout. The losing teams shall have to vacate within 24 hours after their last match is over.

22. Smoking and use of Alcohol/similar substance are strictly prohibited in the campus and tournament venue. Those who are found using will be (team) expelled from the Tournament without further enquiry.

23. Reception counter will be functioning at Samalkota Railway Station from 07.11.2023 at 7 PM onwards.

24. All the participating teams are requested to inform of their arrival date, and time to the Organizing Secretary in advance to make necessary arrangements.

25. The Technical Official's decision is final and binding at all stages of the tournament.

26. Organizing Secretary reserves the right to make changes of the venue, date and time of the Tournament.

27. Weighing session for the players will be conducted at the reception counter soon after team reaches the venue.
